Driving Test marking criteria

Driving Test Procedure
You wait for your driving examiner in the driving test waiting room (some remote test centres in Scotland and rural areas, you might meet your examiner in a car park). The examiner calls your name and asks to see both parts of your driving licence, the photo ID part and the counterpart.torn L plateYou should bring your theory test pass certificate with you and your letter of appointment - these are only used as backup if there is a mix-up on the booking arrangements.
You will be asked to sign your driving test report form to state that your driving test car is insured for the examiner to accompany you on your driving test. At this time you will also be asked if the address on your driving licence is the correct one, if not you will have to fill in your new address details on the back of your driving licence.
You will then be asked to lead the way out to your car. When you are outside the driving examiner will ask you if you have any disabilities that you have not declared on your driving test application form and where your car is parked. You will then be asked to read a car number plate at 20.5m.
If you read the number plate correctly you will be asked to walk to your car. If you fail to read the car number plate your test will be cancelled, 'on-the-spot'.
As you arrive at your car the examiner will ask you two show me tell me driving test questions. You will then be asked to enter your car and prepare yourself for driving off.
